Does the girl still like me?

It sounds like you have some chemistry with her but I'm not sure it will go anywhere. I was very much the same way with a guy I met when I first moved to NY. We were both 15 and we were the best of friends. I had feelings for him but never said anything and always had a boyfriend. I did not know he had feelings for me , I thought he just thought of me as his best friend. I even tried french kissing him one night and he laughed and got embarred so I never tried again. We saw each other until we were in our late 20's and both with other people then we drifted apart. We are both 50 now and found each other on facebook last spring. It's like we never stopped talking. We discovered that we both had the same feelings back then and would have been together if either of us had just spoken up. It's too late for us but not too late for you. I was always afraid of losing my best friend but that happened anyway so what do you have to lose if you speak up to her? At least you will know and will not spend a lifetime wondering.
