Would burgundy look good on a chestnut paint?

My first question is about burgundy on a chestnut paint in general. My second one is i kind of made my own showmanship outfit out of an old suit my mom had....and its olive green. Im not sure if i like it, but i might have to make it work!!!! So, would it look Okay with my horse or would we look terrible?? lol. thanks in advance for your answers!!
