British people are friendly . You will meet some mean ones but most girls in the uk are laid back and easy going . They might take the mick(make fun ) of your accent and the words you can't spell(ie american words /spelling over english words) . But most of that will be friendly banter and the best way to deal with that is not to take yourself too seriously and give banter back . Have fun and good luck .
