what do i do now i cant go to my first choice of university and Question my second's course?

I did not get the right grades in order to get into Kent university. However i got an unconditional(on my grades at the time) choice for my insurance and i can go there. however i no longer like the course they offer now and i don't fancy going into clearing ( i get open places at university courses around the U.K) because it would feel too rushed, should i go back for another year and take the time to pick a course that i want to do?
