Does anyone know what happened to CP Lopez, he was kidnapped and slain back in the 90's in Bacolod or manila?

He's an old clmate of mine and for all the news that surrounded that event i cannot find a single article in the internet. I just want to know what happened and why he was abducted. Thanks.
