SC-What things in the past that we just had to have?

I remember wanting go-go boots in the worst way! I couldn't even tell you what they cost though. I finally got them for my 12th birthday, so I immediately put them on and started parading around...in all my "Nancy Sinatra cool"...and the soles were so slippery that it was almost impossible to stay upright! After recovering from his laughing fit, my father took them out to his workshop and sandpapered the crap out of soles...and I was good to go. For a while there though, it was pretty iffy.
